Kylie Webster
Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW)
Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork Instruction (91492NSW)
Kylie's journey with Pilates began in 2004 when she was introduced to the method as part of her rehabilitation following a knee reconstruction. She fell in love with Pilates and once fully rehabilitated, continued practising Pilates twice a week. From there she has never looked back, appreciating and enjoying the strength and stability Pilates brings to her body and into her everyday life.
After six years of practising the method, Kylie's passion for Pilates led her to become an instructor. She completed her Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork Instruction (91492NSW) in 2010 and then went on to complete her comprehensive qualification, the Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction (91491NSW), in 2011. Kylie has held full membership with the Pilates Alliance of Australasia (PAA) since 2011 and with over 5,000 hours of teaching experience, has attained Level 3 Instructor status.
In mid 2012, Kylie re-evaluated her career path and decided it was time to share the wonder of Pilates with as many people as possible, and Pilates Local was born.
Kylie has experience teaching Pilates in a variety of settings. She has worked with clients alongside respected Pilates Instructors at private studios across Melbourne and was mentored by Jennifer Newman-Preston while completing her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction. She has also worked alongside Physiotherapists in well respected clinics such as Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre (AAMI Park) and The Sports Injury Clinic (Frankston) as well as with Osteopaths and Myotherapists at The Osteo Clinic (Sandringham). Kylie also spent 2012 as a sessional teacher at Chisholm Institute, assisting student instructors on their journey towards completing the nationally recognised Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction.
Kylie enjoys working with clients from all walks of life and guiding them on their own Pilates journey to a stronger, more stable and balanced body.
